Shane Taylor Named ACC Pitcher Of The Week

Sophomore right-hander Shane Taylor became the second straight Tar Heel to be named the ACC Pitcher of the Week on Monday after dealing eight shutout innings in a win at Duke on Sunday. Taylor joins Hobbs Johnson (May 7) and Michael Morin (April 13) as award winners this season and marks the first time since 2009 that UNC has three ACC Pitcher of the Week winners in a season.
