R.C. Orlan leading UNC in wins as relief pitcher

Left-handed relief pitchers are often cast into the same role by baseball coaches, entering a game to retire a left-handed batter, then exiting so the next pitcher can resume work. That's how R.C. Orlan spent his first two years at North Carolina, but as a junior, the Deep Run graduate is breaking the mold, going deeper in games and proving indispensable in one of college baseball's best bullpens.
