Jacob Stallings drafted in 7th round of MLB draft

UNC catcher Jacob Stallings was drafted in the seventh round Tuesday in the MLB first-year draft, selected with the No. 226 overall pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Stallings, one of just two seniors on the 2012 UNC baseball roster, was selected in the 42nd round of last year's MLB Draft, yet elected to come back to Chapel Hill. It was obviously a good move, as he was selected 35 rounds sooner this time around.
