Kirk Urso’s death stuns Crew, fellow players

When the Columbus Crew was set to make its first-round selection in the 2012 supplemental draft, the front office went for a player known as much for his heart as for his skills. Six months later, players and fans are coping with the sudden loss of rookie midfielder Kirk Urso, who died after collapsing at a bar early yesterday morning.
