Answering some FAQs about ACC’s addition of Notre Dame

The Irish will remain an independent in football, but has a contractual commitment to play five regular-season games each season against ACC opponents. The games will be played on a rotating basis with the ACC getting three home games one year and two the next. John Swofford said that “in a perfect world,” each ACC team would get to play Notre Dame either home or away at least once every three years.
