Angels agree to a three-year deal with catcher Chris Iannetta

The Angels didn’t waste any time getting started on their busy off-season agenda, agreeing to terms Friday with catcher Chris Iannetta on a three-year contract. Iannetta, 29, acquired from Colorado last winter for pitcher Tyler Chatwood, had a $5-million option for 2013, but his new deal runs through 2015.
