Freshman Xylina McDaniel notched a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds in her collegiate debut, as North Carolina defeated Davidson 70-59 on Friday in the opening round of the Preseason WNIT at Carmichael Arena. McDaniel led all scorers and added four steals to her contributions in her opening minutes as a Tar Heel. (GoHeels.com)
