Scott Goodwin Named Academic All-America of the Year

A biology major with a 3.95 G.P.A., senior goalkeeper Scott Goodwin of UNC was named as the Capital One Academic All-America of the Year in Division I men's soccer after leading the No. 5 Tar Heels into the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Cup quarterfinals against Indiana on Friday, Nov. 30. Goodwin leads the nation in Goals Against Average (0.26) and ranks second in save percentage (.878).
