Sylvia Hatchell's milestone moments
Posted Feb 7, 2013
Sylvia Hatchell on Thursday became just the third Division I women's coach to win 900 career games. Hatchell, the only coach to lead teams to national championships at the AIAW, NAIA and NCAA levels, has been a college coach for 38 seasons. The three-time national coach of the year has led North Carolina to 15 Sweet 16 appearances and three trips to the Final Four. Hatchell has guided UNC to eight ACC titles and six seasons with at least 30 victories.
