No. 14 North Carolina opened on a 6-0 run and never trailed as the Tar Heels beat Wake Forest for the 10th straight time, 76-56, Thursday night at Carmichael Arena. Xylina McDaniel had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Carolina, while Tierra Ruffin-Pratt added 13 in just nine minutes. Carolina (23-3, 11-2 ACC) kept the visitors from attempting a field goal for nearly three minutes to open the game.
