ACC surveying ‘Catholic 7’ situation in regards to Notre Dame’s entrance date

ACC commissioner John Swofford said his league is in wait-and-see mode as far as when Notre Dame can join. Notre Dame seemed to be targeting a 2014 entrance date for its new conference, but the speed of the Big East’s dissolution could possibly push the Fighting Irish into the ACC for the 2013-14 school year.
