Tar Heels Take Doubleheader From Boston College

No. 1 North Carolina won its third consecutive series to open conference play Saturday when the Tar Heels swept a doubleheader from visiting Boston College, 11-0 and 5-2. Landon Lassiter, Skye Bolt and Brian Holberton all totaled four hits in the sweep as Carolina improved to 21-1 on the year and 7-1 in ACC action. Boston College fell to 3-17 overall and 0-8 in conference play.
