No. 2 UNC Baseball Drops Opener To No. 7 Virginia


No. 2 North Carolina surrendered a season-high 10 runs Thursday night as No. 7 Virginia claimed the first game of a three-game set, 10-4, at Boshamer Stadium. The loss for (9-3) marked the first time in his career that he suffered losses in back-to-back starts. Freshman paced the Tar Heels at the plate as he went 4-for-5 with four singles and a run scored.
