No. 1 UNC faces No. 3 Towson in winner's bracket

The Tar Heels advanced to face No. 3 Towson Saturday at 6 p.m. in Boshamer Stadium in the winner's bracket of the the double-elimination regional. North Carolina defeated Canisius 6-3 Friday night after Towson took a 7-2 win over No. 2 Florida Atlantic. The Heels will start ACC pitcher of the year Kent Emanuel (10-3, 2.11) against Towson righthander Brandon Gonnella (4-4, 5.22).
