Three Tar Heels Named Freshman All-America

The trio of Skye Bolt, Landon Lassiter and Trent Thornton notched their second Freshman All-America honors of the year on Monday as they were named to the NCBWA Freshman All-America First Team. Carolina led the way with three Freshman All-America picks and all three earned first team honors. All three newcomers also earned Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America honors a week ago.
