Posted Jul 25, 2013
A ninth player will make his major-league debut for the Milwaukee Brewers this season with the news that reliever Rob Wooten had his contract selected from Class AAA Nashville this afternoon. Wooten, 27, was a 13th-round pick of the Brewers in 2008. He's 0-1 with a 2.94 earned-run average and 20 saves as the Sounds' closer, and was selected to pitch in the Pacific Coast League All-Star Game last week.
