Florida State freshman Xavier Rathan-Mayes ineligible for 2013-14 season

Florida State freshman Xavier Rathan-Mayes will not be eligible for the upcoming season, head coach Leonard Hamilton announced Monday. Hamilton said Rathan-Mayes did not get through the NCAA Clearinghouse. Sources tell CBSSports.com that the NCAA did not accept a full year of credits he took at a high school in North Carolina. Rathan-Mayes previously attended Christian Faith Center Academy (N.C.). (CBS Sports)
