Daniel Bard working hard to be ready for 2014

There's a good chance the Cubs won't experience as much turnover in their bullpen as they have in 2013. But they could have one important "newcomer" as Daniel Bard is strongly considering pitching in winter ball in an effort to get a head start on 2014. "There's a good chance of it happening," said Bard, who has been relegated to pitching bullpen sessions since joining the Cubs nearly three weeks ago.
