Horton signs with A's

The A's agreed to terms with five of their 2007 draft picks, including second-rounders Grant Desme and Josh Horton. Desme is an outfielder from Cal Poly-SLO who was named the Big West Conference Player of the Year, and Horton is a shortstop who helped North Carolina reach the College World Series finals. Oakland has signed or agreed to terms with 30 of its 53 selections. ( -- scroll down)
