Posted Jun 23, 2007
After giving up 18 earned runs on 19 hits in 9 2/3 NCAA tournament innings, North Carolina pitcher Alex White said he has plenty to prove when he takes the mound tonight in the first game of the College World Series Finals. "I've struggled. Everybody knows I've struggled. And it's time for me to stop talking about it and just go out there and do it,'' said White, 6-6 this season.
