Andrew Carignan isn’t out to make friends when he leaves UNC's bullpen and heads for the mound. “I just try to be as mean as possible out there,” Carignan said. “I go right at them and think that I’m the best player on the field.” Carignan, a junior right-hander, is the Tar Heels’ closer. And he will be one of North Carolina’s most important assets in the College World Series.
