From tragedy, a rebirth

Twenty nine days ago, Andrew Carignan learned of devastating news that changed his life forever. Sunday night, on national television, it was Carignan making the news as he tossed four shutout innings to earn a win and send the University of North Carolina to the College World Series for the second consecutive year. To call the last month a roller coaster of emotions is like saying the 2004 Norwich Free Academy graduate throws "kind of hard."
