Five Double-Digit Scorers Lead UNC Women Over Virginia

Stephanie Mavunga's 17-point, 10-rebound performance led No. 11/8 North Carolina to an 80-74 victory at Virginia Thursday night from John Paul Jones Arena. North Carolina put five players in double figures with Allisha Gray scoring a team-high 18 points. Diamond DeShields had all 13 of her points in the second half, and Latifah Coleman and N'Dea Bryant added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
