The title drought is over for the Tar Heels. North Carolina's Josh Horton tripled home Dustin Ackley for the winning run in the eighth inning to give the Tar Heels a 3-2 win over Wake Forest on Sunday in the title game of the ACC Baseball Championship. The win capped a strong finish by the Tar Heels, who lost their opener against Georgia Tech on Wednesday but rebounded to post three consecutive wins. North Carolina won its last title in 1990.
