UNC, Wake Forest to play for ACC title

UNC will play Wake Forest today for the ACC baseball title. Wake, the No. 8 seed, advanced Saturday night with a 7-3 victory over Miami at Jacksonville, Fla. Earlier in the day, No. 2 seed North Carolina beat Virginia 5-0. Freshman Alex White gave up two hits in seven innings for North Carolina (47-12) in its victory over Virginia. Reid Fronk drove in two runs for the fourth-ranked Tar Heels, who last won the ACC title in 1990.
