Matt Harvey: A Day Off (in a Year Off)

During a stellar season pitching for the New York Mets last year, Matt Harvey, now 25, was the National League’s starter in the All-Star Game and rejuvenated the team’s frustrated fans. This season he is doing rehab in New York and in Port St. Lucie, Fla., after Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. When the team isn’t playing, he hangs out on Sundays in the East Village.
