Carolina Sweeps Virginia Tech, 5-4

Tyler Ramirez's sacrifice fly scored Michael Russell in the bottom of the ninth as North Carolina completed a three-game sweep with a 5-4 win over Virginia Tech Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Russell extended his career-long hitting streak to 17 games with three hits and Ramirez homered as the Tar Heels improved to 27-18 and 13-11 in the ACC.
