Return to Greensboro marks milestone for Davis Love III
Posted Aug 15, 2014
When Davis Love III teed off on hole number 10 Thursday at the Wyndham Championship, it was a milestone moment for him. It was his 700th career start on the PGA Tour, seemingly a lifetime since a fresh-faced 21-year-old out of UNC made his first start back in 1985. “Little things like we would call a newspaper to find your tee-time the next day,” Love reminisced. “Literally, it was a different world.”
