Fouls hurt Ivory Latta, North Carolina
Posted Apr 2, 2007
North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell wanted this one back. It seemed so obvious to her, in hindsight, how the Tar Heels could have avoided a late-game collapse in a 56-50 loss to Tennessee in the national semifinals on Sunday night. UNC attempted only eight foul shots, hitting six. Tennessee was 20-of-26 with an aggressive approach that led to foul trouble for North Carolina guard Camille Little and center LaToya Pringle.
