UNC volleyball getting contributions from familiar Tar Heels name
Posted Dec 2, 2014
The UNC volleyball team is currently on a 17-match win streak, ranked No. 7 in the nation and will be hosting the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. A big reason is a big-time player with a familiar name to Tar Heel sports fans. Lauren McAdoo, a 6-foot senior from Oviedo, Fla., is newly married to former UNC basketball standout James Michael McAdoo and is a big part of the team's success.
