Reilly Hovis Undergoes Tommy John Surgery

UNC junior right-hander Reilly Hovis underwent Tommy John surgery Tuesday morning and will miss the remainder of the 2015 season. The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews. Hovis, who made just two appearances in 2015, was a first-team All-ACC relief pitcher for UNC last season. The Gastonia, native won a team-best nine games and saved six as a sophomore in 2014.
