No. 1 North Carolina scored a season-high 14 runs in its final tune-up before the start of conference play and cruised to a 14-0 victory over Temple Wednesday at Boshamer Stadium. Ten players hit safely for the Tar Heels (12-1) on the day, while seven pitchers combined on a seven-hit shutout of the Owls (2-9). Reid Fronk, Chad Flack, Josh Horton and Dustin Ackley each tallied multiple RBI to lead Carolina's starters.
