Duke offers scholarship to AZ freshman F/C Marvin Bagley III

Tempe Corona del Sol forward/center Marvin Bagley III, azcentral sports’ Big Schools Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a freshman, has just hit the mother lode of recruiting with a scholarship offer Wednesday morning from national champion Duke. Before even starting his high school career, Bagley received an offer from 2014 national champion Connecticut. Last month, Bagley received an offer from Kentucky, which lost its only game of the season to Wisconsin in the NCAA Final Four.
