Hinton James first to enroll at UNC
Posted Jun 15, 2015
The name Hinton James might ring a bell to anyone who is on the campus of the UNC-Wilmington. The campus is home to Hinton James Hall, one of the three original student buildings and today serves as the University admissions office. There’s also a residence hall at UNC-Chapel Hill named for him. But for those who are not familiar with the name, his legacy runs deep.
