Posted Aug 7, 2015
Yankees closer Andrew Miller worked around a hit and a walk to protect a 2-1 win over the Red Sox on Thursday. Miller recorded his 24th save of the season, needing 17 pitches in the scoreless ninth inning. This was Miller's first save chance since July 25, but he continues to be perfect on the year, going 24-for-24 in those chances.
