Five-star shooting guard Malik Monk commits to Kentucky

Five-star shooting guard verbally committed to Kentucky on the final day of the initial signing period, a source in Monk's camp told Scout. Monk was expected to wait until the second signing period to make his choice, but after taking official visits to Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky and Oregon, the 6-foot-4 athletic guard opted to go ahead and pull the trigger for the Wildcats.
