Third-ranked North Carolina built an 8-1 lead in the first half and held on to win at No. 12 Boston College, 13-12, on Saturday afternoon. Sammy Jo Tracy and Ela Hazar led the way with four points apiece as the Tar Heels won their fifth consecutive game and improved to 8-2 overall this season, 2-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
