UNC, ACC baseball talents get MLB Draft call Friday

The St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland A’s each selected a player from UNC and NC State. UNC junior pitcher Zac Gallen and NC State junior catcher Andrew Knizner were taken by St. Louis while UNC junior outfielder Tyler Ramirez and NC State senior pitcher Will Gillbert went to Oakland. UNC junior righty A.J. Bogucki was taken in the eighth round by the Nationals.
