Ingram, of course, was an All-ACC performer for the Blue Devils. and starred for the North Carolina Tar Heels before going on to the NBA. Charles Shackleford was a standout at N.C. State and played for the Charlotte Hornets. Cedric “Cornbread” Maxwell played at UNC Charlotte and had his jersey retired by the Boston Celtics. (Today's U)
