Former UNC basketball star LaToya Sanders posts highest-scoring game at Olympics


A former UNC basketball star posted the highest-scoring game of the Rio Olympics thus far on Tuesday. But it wasn’t U.S. men’s team member . It was LaToya Sanders. Known by her maiden name when she played for the Tar Heels, the 6-foot-3 center scored 36 points for Turkey — where she plays professionally. (Wilmington Star News)
