UNC Field Hockey Earns Season's First Shutout In 6-0 Win Over VCU

The UNC field hockey team equaled its highest offensive output of the season and also notched its first shutout of the fall on Sunday afternoon, beating VCU 6-0 at Francis E. Henry Stadium. The third-ranked Tar Heels improved to 5-1 with their second home-field win of the weekend. “I’m very happy with the shutout,” UNC coach Karen Shelton said.
