Dustin Ackley Released by Yankees
Posted Nov 18, 2016
Dustin Ackley was released by the Yankees on Friday, Sweeny Murti of Sportsradio 66 WFAN reports. The former No. 2 overall pick will be looking for a new team after losing most of his 2016 to a torn labrum that required surgery. Ackley hasn't posted an above average OPS since his rookie year in 2011 while also moving into a corner role on defense.
