No. 3 North Carolina closed out the regular season with a 6-1 victory over Syracuse, giving Hayley Carter and the Tar Heels a fifth-straight ACC Women’s Tennis regular season title. North Carolina (27-2, 13-1 ACC) garners the top seed in next week’s ACC Championship and will face either eighth seed Virginia or ninth seed Florida State in a quarterfinal match on Friday.
