Landon Lassiter’s departure from professional baseball lasted just 12 days. The former North Davidson and University of North Carolina star was re-signed on Sunday by the Chicago White Sox and assigned to the Advanced-A Winston-Salem Dash, the same team he was with at the end of the 2016 season. Lassiter was a 21st-round pick of the White Sox in 2015.
