Gammons back on air Wednesday night at Fenway
Posted Sep 20, 2006
ESPN's Peter Gammons laughs when asked whether he could have imagined a month ago that the Boston Red Sox wouldn't get to the playoffs — but he would. "There wasn't any intention for me to even think about the playoffs," he says. "It was for me to maybe get back to work in mid-January." Tonight the veteran baseball analyst will report from the Minnesota Twins-Boston game at Fenway Park for SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight and probably work another regular-season game before figuring out his postseason plans.
