Mystics’ Ivory Latta receives WNBA community leadership award

Washington Mystics guard Ivory Latta’s efforts to promote participation in youth sports and her work to encourage healthy lifestyles for children and families was recognized with a Dawn Staley Community Leadership Award, the WNBA announced Friday. The Mystics veteran co-wrote and published an autobiographical children’s book this year, “Despite the Height.”
