Matt Harvey finishes dismal season with loss to Phillies

Matt Harvey’s long nightmare of a season is over. It ended fittingly with frustration Friday. The one-time ace balked in a run and could only get through four innings as the Mets lost to the Phillies, 6-2, at Citizens Bank Park. In a fitting representation of their 2017 futility, Harvey had an embarrassing, run-scoring balk.
