UNC Women's Basketball Tangles With Furman Sunday

North Carolina hosts Furman in the last of 10 consecutive home games to begin the season. Tip off is scheduled at Carmichael Arena for 2 p.m. UNC is 4-0 all-time against Furman. All four previous meetings have been held in Chapel Hill. The last head-to-head contest was a 77-36 Tar Heel victory in 2007. UNC coach Sylvia Hatchell will be vying for career win No. 998.
