Adam Warren back at Boykin
Posted Jul 2, 2006
Friday afternoon Adam Warren returned to a familiar place. The rising sophomore pitcher at North Carolina pulled up in his car to Boykin Field, his home during baseball seasons at New Bern High School the previous four years. Warren wasn’t just returning to Boykin, he was becoming a teammate again, joining the New Bern River Rats squad of the Coastal Plain League. But he was also coming back a bit of a hero.
