No. 9 UNC Men's Lacrosse Wins in Sudden Victory Over Furman

The ninth-ranked UNC men's lacrosse team weathered a furious second half rally by Furman Saturday to win 15-14 on a Justin Anderson goal 31 seconds into the sudden victory period at Kenan Stadium. Anderson assisted on Chris Cloutier's game-tying goal in regulation and then scored the game-winner in the first overtime period to lift the Tar Heels to 2-0.
